Building on the fundamental structure of the ATS vocabulary & Tribal Fusion philosophy, this class will sinuously transition you into the world of Wayward Bellydance. "Wayward" literally means 'following one's own capricious or wanton inclinations.' In other words, we will transition you into a world free of any belly boxes while retaining the fundamental techniques of Tribal Style & Fusion Styles of Bellydance. While learning our signature Wayward cue-able combinations & short choreographies for the purpose of performance, the student will also learn how to fuse other dance form movements (such as those from Jazz, Hip Hop, Burlesque, cabaret & Flamenco) into their Bellydance practice and discover how to create their own signature combinations/choreographies leaving class NOT ONLY with NEW dances learned & self-created but with a strong sense of invaluable musicality & technique.

NOTE: LaRa & Andrea's Performing Student Troupe "Danse Asylum" is formed from students of this class. However, participation in the student troupe or performances is NOT required.
